Mercedes and Brett chose Gillson Park in Wilmette, IL for their engagement session at the end of May 2020, almost exactly two years before their May 2022 wedding. Like many couples stepping in front of a professional camera for the first time, they weren't quite sure what to expect—and they arrived feeling a little shy and unsure of themselves.

But that's where the magic of an engagement session begins.
