Jessica and Paul chose a very special place for their engagement session: the Shakespeare Garden on the grounds of Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, where they both graduated and shared many meaningful moments together.

Planned in 1915 and built between 1916 and 1929, the Shakespeare Garden holds a special place in history as the first Shakespeare Garden in the United States.

Its sophisticated garden layout, combined with the timeless architecture of the university campus, created a beautiful setting for us to bring artistic images to life. But beyond the beauty and history of the location, these photographs will always carry a deeper meaning for Jessica and Paul. They will remind them not only of their engagement, but also of the time they spent together walking through these gardens and university grounds, creating memories long before they became a family.

Every photo session is special to us, but this one had an extra touch of involvement since Jessica is the niece of dear family friends.
