In the first week of October, we had the pleasure of capturing the engagement session of Karoline and Nicholas at North Avenue Beach in Chicago.

The Windy City greeted us with an unexpectedly calm day—gentle, pleasant, and perfect for a relaxed session along the lakefront. Without the usual strong lakefront winds, the atmosphere felt especially peaceful, allowing us to slow down and fully immerse ourselves in the moment.

At an easy, unhurried pace, we explored the surrounding beach areas, using the natural landscape and soft October sunlight to guide the storytelling. The warm autumn tones created a beautiful seasonal backdrop, and Karoline’s dress complemented the fall colors effortlessly, blending harmoniously into the composition and enhancing the overall visual balance of the session.
