The combination of the beautiful estate, mature trees, gardens, and open grounds creates an incredible variety of photo opportunities without ever having to leave the property.
Emily chose not to have getting-ready coverage, allowing more time for the celebration. The day began with a spontaneous first look between Emily and her father, followed by her planned first look with Justin inside the estate. We then photographed the couple, their bridesmaids, and groomsmen before moving outside for their ceremony beneath the magnificent old oak tree.
From portraits and family photographs to cocktail hour and the reception, the entire day flowed naturally through the property. The extra reception coverage gave us the opportunity to capture plenty of genuine moments—guests laughing, dancing, celebrating, and enjoying themselves. DJ Alli kept the dance floor full and the energy high throughout the evening. During the reception, we were able to create beautiful photojournalistic portraits of Emily and Justin while on the dance floor. The external flashlights and beautifully illuminated reception area provided an excellent setting for candid images that show the vibe of the night.
One of the things that stood out most about photographing at The Grove Redfield Estate was the people. The Redfield Estate event coordinators were exceptionally welcoming, kind, and professional throughout the day.
Their organization and attention to detail made everything feel effortless, creating a relaxed environment for Emily and Justin, their guests, and all of the vendors.
For a wedding photographer at The Grove Redfield Estate, this venue offers an ideal combination of historic architecture, natural scenery, elegant event spaces, and convenient locations for portraits. It is easy to create a complete wedding gallery here—from the first look and wedding-party portraits to the outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and nighttime portraits—all within one beautiful Glenview location.
