Nicole and Ari’s wedding took place in the heart of Deerfield, Illinois, a charming North Shore suburb known for its beautiful venues, welcoming neighborhoods, and family-oriented atmosphere. Their day unfolded across two elegant locations, beginning with morning preparations at the Deerfield Marriott before continuing at the beautiful Hyatt Regency Deerfield, where the remainder of their celebration took place.

The groom and his groomsmen started their day at the Deerfield Marriott, while Nicole prepared for the wedding at the Hyatt Regency Deerfield. The close proximity of both locations allowed for a relaxed and efficient timeline, minimizing travel and maximizing time for photographs, video coverage, and meaningful moments with family and friends.

To ensure every important detail was captured, Red Barn Studio provided two experienced lead photographers, Michael and Bogdan, along with our talented cinematographer, Fafa.

Working together throughout the day, they documented every angle of the celebration—from emotional getting-ready moments and the first look to family portraits, candid interactions, and the energy of the reception.

One of the highlights of the day was the romantic portrait session held throughout the Hyatt Regency Deerfield. Nicole and Ari envisioned a collection that blended timeless portraits with genuine, unscripted moments, and the venue provided the perfect backdrop for both. The hotel’s elegant interiors and versatile spaces allowed us to create a diverse gallery while keeping the entire wedding day comfortable and stress-free for the couple.

The ceremony and reception were held in the Regency Ballroom, where more than 160 family members and friends gathered to celebrate. From the Ketubah signing and heartfelt blessings to the energetic hora and packed dance floor, every part of the day reflected the couple’s strong family values, joyful personalities, and thoughtful planning.

Nicole and Ari assembled an exceptional team of vendors, including planner Taylor Anderson and the talented musicians of Blue Water Kings Band, helping create a celebration that was both elegant and deeply personal. Throughout the day, what stood out most was not only the love they shared with one another, but also the warmth and connection they shared with everyone around them.

What makes this wedding especially memorable for our team is that the relationship did not end after the wedding day. Nicole and Ari continued to recommend Red Barn Studio to their friends and family, and Nicole even helped guide and support the planning process for her close friend Katie's wedding, which we were also honored to photograph.
