Anastasia and Thomas’s May 2026 wedding was a beautiful example of how thoughtful planning and extended photography coverage can allow a couple to experience their entire wedding day without having to choose between important locations, traditions, and memories. Their 12-hour wedding photography coverage began at Sentral Hotel at 808 S Michigan Ave in Chicago, continued to Saint Andrew Greek Orthodox Church at 5649 N Sheridan Rd, included a quick Chicago downtown stop around the Wrigley Building, and concluded at Oak Brook Manor in Oak Brook, Illinois, where we photographed their portraits, cocktail hour, and reception.

The day began with the full getting-ready portion at Sentral Hotel in downtown Chicago. From the anticipation of the morning to the final preparations, having photography coverage from the beginning allowed us to document the story as it naturally unfolded rather than trying to recreate those moments later.
The ceremony at Saint Andrew Greek Orthodox Church was an especially meaningful part of the day. We regularly hear from couples planning Greek Orthodox weddings who want to know whether our team has experience photographing the ceremony, traditions, and important moments that make a Greek Orthodox wedding unique.
The answer is yes. Our team includes professionals with Greek Orthodox backgrounds and firsthand familiarity with the ceremony and traditions, allowing us to approach Greek Orthodox wedding photography with an understanding of what is happening and which moments are important to preserve. That experience helps us photograph the ceremony respectfully while anticipating the moments that couples and their families will want to remember. For couples searching for a Greek Orthodox wedding photographer in Chicago, Anastasia and Thomas’s May 2026 wedding is a wonderful example of how we can combine our knowledge of the traditions with our documentary and artistic approach to wedding photography.
After the ceremony, we made a quick stop in downtown Chicago around the Wrigley Building. Rather than dedicating a large portion of the day to traveling between locations, the schedule allowed us to create a selection of iconic Chicago images while keeping the wedding day moving comfortably.
From there, we continued to Oak Brook Manor, where the atmosphere changed from the energy of downtown Chicago to the beautiful suburban setting of the venue.
Oak Brook Manor provided the perfect final setting for Anastasia and Thomas’s wedding photography.
With its spacious grounds, natural surroundings, elegant clubhouse, and variety of indoor and outdoor locations, the venue gave us the opportunity to create a completely different collection of images from those captured earlier in Chicago.
The final portrait session at Oak Brook Manor allowed us to slow down and concentrate on Anastasia and Thomas as a newly married couple. We then continued seamlessly into cocktail hour and the reception, documenting their celebration with family and friends.
For us, this is one of the most valuable parts of wedding planning: creating a realistic photography schedule before entering into the contract, so couples know what can be accomplished and what level of coverage is needed to bring their vision to life.
Anastasia and Thomas’s May 2026 wedding day was a perfect example of what is possible when the timeline, locations, and photography coverage work together. From Greek Orthodox wedding photography at Saint Andrew Greek Orthodox Church, to Chicago downtown portraits, and finally wedding photography at Oak Brook Manor, every part of their day had its place—and nothing important had to be left behind.
